OpenOffice.org

Often referred to as OpenOffice but officially called OpenOffice.org, this package is designed to provide a free but competitive alternative to established proprietary office suites such as Microsoft Office. It can read (and to some extent write) most file formats of its rivals, and boast many of the same features and components.
