Q & A > tabbed browsing
Recent versions of web browsers include a tabbed browsing feature, which allows the user to open more than one webpage at a time within a single window. Each new page is marked with a 'tab' at the top. This means you can have several web pages open at once, and click back and forth between them without opening new windows.
Note: tabbed browsing may be turned off in your browser, so you'll have to turn it on. See the help menu of your browser to find out how.
