Q & A  >  browser up-to-date

Should I keep my browser
up-to-date?

If you download the most recent version of your browser, you'll be able to view recently-developed websites. Some technology used by new websites did not exist when older browsers were developed. Older browsers may also have bugs that have been fixed in newer versions (but beware: some newer versions reveal bugs of their own!).

In most cases, more recent browser versions will run faster, will render content more accurately, and will be able to view web sites developed way back when the web was in its infancy.

Most, if not all, browsers are now able to auto-update so you can stay current and be alerted to new version releases. Updates will also address bugs and security issues should any appear.
